Information we collect
A. Anonymous information about the pages you view during your visit to The Woodland Orchards site. This is standard data for web analystics.
B. Information provided voluntarily by you, such as information you give The Woodland Orchards, such as when you purchase a workshop place or something from our shop.
C. Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means, such as email, 'contact us' form or by phone.
D. We do not store financial details (credit or debit card numbers) or any other financial data you provide. All transactions are handled by a secure ecommerce provider such as Paypal or Shopify.
Such information will not identify you personally. It is statistical data. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever. You can adjust the settings on your computer to decline any cookies if you wish. This can easily be done by selecting 'options' in you internet browser and choosing the reject cookies setting on your computer.
Use of your information
We use the information that you submit to us only to inform you, periodically, of relevant information, offers, event, services and products we provide. In addition to this we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:
i. To provide information to you that you request from us relating to our products or services.
ii. To inform you of any changes to our website, workshops or products.
If you have previously purchased goods or services from us we may provide to you details of similar workshops or products, or other goods and services, that you may be interested in, through our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time, and of course come back to the The Woodland Orchards community at any time as well.
Storing your personal data
We do not store any personal data except for your name and email address in a secure newsletter list.
Disclosing your information
We will not disclose your personal information to any other party (we never sell or share your email address). We will only disclose information to third parties in the circumstances detailed below:
i. Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information.
ii. To further fraud protection and reduce the risk of fraud.
Accessing your information
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the right to access any information that we hold relating to you. Please note that we reserve the right to charge a fee of up to £10 to cover costs incurred by us in providing you with the information.
